I found an old Comic-Con 2009 video on 1Up.com.  The video description says:

TapouT’s Dan “Punkass” Caldwell facing off with Namco Bandai Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer, Makoto Iwai in a three round match in Tekken 6. TapouT and Namco Bandai announced that the TapouT clothing line will be coming to Tekken 6 as part of the game’s character customization features.
